Brief Downtime

The minecraft servers and website will be down for no more than around 10-15 minutes this afternoon whilst upgrades are performed.
It will be between 4 and 4.30pm and wont take long at all (or shouldnt).

We are now in our new data centre with new IPs. Please inform me if ANYTHING at all does not work with regards to IPs (sourcebans, ct bans, hostnames etc.)

New Datacenter and IPs

This coming monday will see some downtime for the site and the servers, it will be considerable.
Yesterday, we suffered 2 DDoSs. They were big, so much so that box 2s IP has been perm nulled. I was pissed to say the least, however, Ive spent *all* day finding a new host. I have found one that can offer us what we need and is in range of me for driving, its still an hour, but its not as far as it is now and is around the same price we are paying.
So, this means new IPs, so we will need help to repopulate some of our servers, this also means downtime on the site and even once its back online, the websites IPs will need reconfiguring and will take time to propogate across nameservers.
I hope that the downtime will be minimal and we can carry on as before but better. Should this not work out I have had other quotes from other places within the hours drive that can do the same, but I hope our new host can live up to what I have spoken to him about for around an hour.
The downtime for box 2 will be until monday evening at least, everything else will remain as is until around monday at mid day before going down until monday evening also (im not sure how long it will take me at the DC to set it all back up again). monday evening is a generous estimate. tuesday is more likely and tuesday evening at the very latest (as dns propogation takes around 24hours).
So, now on to money. It is typical that yesterday I paid for the next months colo, and now I have to pay the same amount again. What with all the other possible bits that I might have to buy tmf for the first time in almost 2 years MIGHT (it should be fine) struggle for money. So, as an apology for the downtime and by way of a thank you for anyone who has donated recently, anyone who has live admin through purchase on monday and anyone that donates by monday will get a bonus free month.
