as the title says, Angelou for Staff. Looking at the roster we have ton of officres but only 3 Staff members. I say give Angelou Staff. She is a great person, a respected member in TMF. She is fair and handles any kind of situation very well.

Its always fun when she is on the server, she always brings good mood to the game. I didnt saw her favourising any member, she treats everyone the same way and as they deserve. This is a rare quality here in tmf. If you agree with me, sign here. ty.

Edit : After seeing Razor's post, I agree that you should view Stvv's earlier post.
At the end of the day, if Angelou wants staff, then she'll apply - There's no need to nominate her for this responsibility without her even knowing (I'm guessing), it just comes off as sucking up.

I didnt want to post on this, because it may seem that i'm targetting Jackal with our recent little spat, but, honestly jackal, i do regret being an ass too you.

But this thread, yeah, Angelou is an awesome person, however the position of staff would most likely only be handed to people rizla think can handle it, not saying that i dont think angelou could, however nominating people for this is essentially pointless, and if people were to vote new staff, or vote new officers, its just a popularity competition, not a whose legitimately good at the role that they're being voted for.

Which if there is a vote for officers soon, its...going to be pointless, imo. Staff should decide, thats it.

Please don't start post's like this it could promote other's to do the same and then we have a huge pile of them, Rizla know's Angelou and if he feels that she is the top woman for the job then he will pick her but I don't think we need to start campaign threads for players, just leave it to Sam, Jonas and Graham as they will know what they need.

Samwas: Has not been around only came out of the woods twice to help his brother in the abuse reports.
Bunny: Sits in the locked league channels all day doing absolutely nothing.

Angelou: Does work good graphics probly nicest officer actualy takes time to comment on on the forums.
Tom: Nice guy more of a server admin not a forum admin.

In their defence, how do you actually know they're not doing anything? Most of their work could be behind the scenes, just like stagecrew; the show wouldn't be on without them, people don't acknowledge them though.
I agree that Angelou would be a great addition to the staff team but it's better to leave it up to the staff to decide whether she is ready or not.

I really love it when people post about staff/officers not doing anything when really they don't see most of the stuff we do. Why do you day the only Angelou and Tom do stuff, where do you get this from? What should we do that we are not currently doing?

This is a Multi-Gaming Organisation and I am trying to get us to expand into other games (sam get a dayz server already) as this will bring in new members and players to our servers (which has already happened with dayz even without having our own server).

If you have any suggestions of what I or any other officer/staff member should do/ not do feel free to msg me on steam or ts3.

@Roxas there a only a a tiny proportion of this big community I genuinely do not like and you are one of these people. You have looked at things with a biased point of view on a number of occasions and I feel your points are usually invalid. In an effort to keep me sane I try my best not to be around you.

-Wanna say that I actually see Bunny a lot on Jailbreak. He does stuff on the forums too.
-Same thing everyone else said, Angelou would apply for staff herself, etc.
-Rizla probably has a -ton of stuff to do on his list, creating new servers is probably coming up.

This is not bum licking. I am not applying for officer or any other position. I just simply stated what i think that would be good for this community. Trying to get somebody into staff who is still close to the community. Since the staff we have atm isnt really active on any server. cuz they are busy with other things.

The main difference between staff and officer is the technical aspect.
They pretty much have equal server/teamspeak and forum powers but staff members are the ones working on maintenance of servers backstage. How often do you see most staff members except for frenzy on the servers?
Rarely, but that's ok, they work on fixing them and expanding TmF as a community.
Most officers do a great deal of work such as ct unban request, application forms and plenty of other things.

If anything I say we thank them for what they do.
Staff and officer aren't protocolair functions, they do a big deal of work in TmF.
yes, there might be people that don't always do as much as they could do.


But if at the end of the day, TmF stays a good healthy growing and most of all fun community I couldn't give a

Hahaha, sorry, who was up at 5 this morning and when they woke up updating the servers and fixing the plugins...

Anyway, yes, as Morpheus said, Officer and Staff are effectively the same rank, they have the same power, the only difference is that Staff are more technically active and have access to the servers for technical work, officers are community based dealing with bans, abuse reports etc. Other than the technical access, the only difference is access to applications to TmF, which only Staff have access to...
